A freely editable CPOV (Catholic Point of View) resource reflecting a Catholic perspective on faith and culture, with the added bonus of a growing directory of Catholic dioceses, parishes, resources and ministries.

Originally based on articles from the old Catholic Encyclopedia, Cathwiki.org is gradually editing and enhancing this information with internal and external links, new resources and bibliography and cross-references to recent Catholic documents, including the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

We welcome contributions to build up cathwiki.org into a valuable resource, in the spirit of Vatican II's Gravissimum Educationis which calls Catholics to bring the light of the Gospel to bear in all areas of intellectual activity and to form themselves “for service in the spread of the Kingdom of God, so that by leading an exemplary apostolic life they become, as it were, a saving leaven in the human community.” (GE. 25.)
